Counsels individuals or groups regarding mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or substance abuse issues as appropriate to their division/department. Develops and implements a therapeutic treatment plan. Provide family support and education to family members of consumers. Complete intakes on new consumers. Conducts pre-hospitalization screening as appropriate. Coordinate the monitoring of medication between a consumer and a mental health professional, registered nurse, or licensed practical nurse. Develops treatment plans and updates as necessary. Provides crisis intervention and resolution to consumers. Effectively manages the assigned caseload.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other mental health field. Computer skills to include Word Processing, Excel, Type 40+wpm. Current/Valid Driver’s License with good driving record. Needs to be eligible as QSAP II which means either a LBSW, 2 years SA experience (making eligible to obtain SA certification) or already have SA certification.
Hours: 8am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday
